Founded in 1534, Ilhéus is located in between the ocean and Atlantic Rainforest. With
approximately 100 kilometers of white sanded beaches and good urban infrastructure,
Ilhéus measures an average temperature of 24ºC year round. Ilhéus became famous
because of its cacao plantations and the prosperity that it brought to the city. Also thanks
