The beaches (Praias) in the centre of Ilhéus, like the Praia da Avenida, Praia do Cristo and,
north of the city centre, Praia do Malhado and Praia do Marciano, changed throughout the years
because of the effects of the new harbor. However, the beaches are still popular amongst
locals and get crowdie during the summer. |
